Florida AAHAM Presidents Update Fall 2026
Fall Greetings to All Florida Sunshine AAHAM Chapter Members.
I would like to provide some information regarding the FL AAHAM chapter
And National AAHAM 2026 ANI!
As we head into this last quarter of 2026 – we are preparing for next year – looking at elections for our board and preparing for Education and other services for our membership. Five of our Seven board members have chosen to stay active as board members for 2027. We are looking for interested chapters members who wish to join the FL AAHAM board or would like more information about the board member activities and benefits. If you want more information – please reach out to myself at [email protected]. We will be doing elections for the board positions in November 2026, so please contact me soon if interested and watch for the election ballots soon.
Education in 2026 has been focused on Webinars – in a Lunch and Learn format by the Chapter. National AAHAM is also providing Webinars and other activities for learning and providing options for your CEUs. Please be sure you are receiving both National and FL chapter updates with the notices of Webinar and other updates. You can also see updates and information on Linked In – and both National and Chapter Websites. Remember to submit your own CEUs to National AAHAM under your profile.
I just returned from National AAHAM ANI 2026 in Philadelphia. I am very excited about the attendance – both by providers and exhibitors and vendors. The venue /location was beautiful in downtown Philadelphia, and the atmosphere of all who attended was upbeat, exciting and supportive. ( Note the photos below !) National AAHAM and the Executive team did a terrific job of arranging the event to provide quality education, time for attendees to mingle and communicate, and they provided a very clear summary of some of the challenges of the past year – and AAHAM’s priorities and focuses for 2027. I am delighted that I attended so that can come back and share with our FL board and members that the National AAHAM board and organization is strongly focused on membership needs, education, certification and the financial stability and viability. I look forward to participation and attending future National events. National AAHAM announced they are hopeful and welcome involvement from all chapters and members.
As Florida AAHAM heads into the final quarter of this year and plan for 2027- the board is also interested in Chapter members input into what is requested for education, any questions or requests or communications from Members. A webinar will be planned in the next few months related to AAHAM membership – National and Chapter – Certification and other issues- to provide updates and discuss how AAHAM can relate to your professional growth. Please watch for this to be scheduled and join for this discussion.
